Pātiki Earrings – Matariki mā Puanga Design by Troy Tawhai
Designed by local Māori artist Troy Tawhai of 3Seven4, these Pātiki Earrings are a radiant nod to unity, abundance, and identity.
The pattern forms the shape of pātiki - the flounder - which in te ao Māori represents prosperity and nourishment. In this unique Matariki edition, Troy has intricately worked in nine central niho (triangles), each representing one of the nine stars of Matariki. The surrounding niho completes the shape of Puanga - acknowledging the beautiful variation in how different iwi mark this time of year.

We're incredibly proud to include this design as part of our journey reconnecting with our own whakapapa, and it was important to us to do this in a way that felt respectful, elegant, and authentic
